Thermo Tracer Cameras

NEC San-ei manufacture the Thermo Tracer range of thermal cameras for both thermal imaging and thermography applications.

Thermal Imaging is commonly used for security, surveillance, border monitoring and many more applications where temperature differentials are viewed as a hot to cold image.

Thermography adds full temperature measurement to the thermal image and gives absolute temperature readings down to    0.1°C. The calibrated readings from a thermography camera allow users to use temperature as a method of defining the item condition as  healthy or not. The Thermo Tracer sees infrared energy radiated from all surfaces and is totally passive / non-contact.

The Thermo Tracer is designed to be light weight, small, ergonomic and innovative, making it a market leader worldwide. Systems are hand held and fully portable or fixed position for remote control configuration. Image display on the portable units is either LCD or Viewfinder or both dependant on the model, allowing full portability where ever your inspection location. The fixed position Thermo Tracer has a standard video output for connecting to TV, recorders, projectors, LCD units and optional digital connections are available. Incorporating FIREWIRE, USB2 and Ethernet makes connecting to computers or control systems simple and with a wide selection of software packages applications are varied.

Measurement is quick and easy with a selection of analysis tools including: multiple spots, area boxes, isotherm, line profile, delta-T, auto max/min temp and max/min peak hold. Ambient correction is catered for with user definable selections: ambient, humidity, distance, emmissivity, background and ref calibration. Temperature ranges are from -40°C to 2000°C.

Every image stored is 14-bit resolution allowing full post processing within the camera or via the software. Parameters saved with the images are: consecutive file name, time, date, colour palette, temperature range, temperature scale, ambient correction, analysis tools, annotation. Image annotation makes report building quicker by adding user defined or pre-loaded text to each image saved and drops straight into the report software. Voice information is through a built-in microphone/speaker in the camera body to save on external cables, batteries and operation. Upto 30 seconds of voice recording is available per image and can be played back in the camera or software.

A full set of accessories are available on all models and typically include: software, lenses, high temperature range, batteries, chargers, carry cases, cables, interfaces, and storage.
